Quaternary ammonium salts were synthesized in moderate to good yields through double oxidative C?H bond activation on azobenzenes. The mechanism of the highly regioselective reaction of 2‐azobiaryls with alkenes to give orange‐red‐fluorescent cinnolino[2,3‐f]phenanthridin‐9‐ium salts and 15H‐cinnolino[2,3‐f]phenanthridin‐9‐ium‐10‐ide is proposed to involve ortho C?H olefination of the 2‐azobiaryl compound with the alkene, intramolecular aza‐Michael addition, concerted metalation–deprotonation (CMD), reductive elimination, and oxidation.  相似文献

A new method for the synthesis of highly substituted naphthyridine‐based polyheteroaromatic compounds in high yields proceeds through rhodium(III)‐catalyzed multiple C H bond cleavage and C C and C N bond formation in a one‐pot process. Such highly substituted polyheteroaromatic compounds have attracted much attention because of their unique π‐conjugation, which make them suitable materials for organic semiconductors and luminescent materials. Furthermore, a possible mechanism, which involves multiple chelation‐assisted ortho C H activation, alkyne insertion, and reductive elimination, is proposed for this transformation.  相似文献

We report a new tuneable alternating current (ac) electrohydrodynamics (ac‐EHD) force referred to as “nanoshearing” which involves fluid flow generated within a few nanometers of an electrode surface. This force can be externally tuned via manipulating the applied ac‐EHD field strength. The ability to manipulate ac‐EHD induced forces and concomitant fluid micromixing can enhance fluid transport within the capture domain of the channel (e.g., transport of analytes and hence increase target–sensor interactions). This also provides a new capability to preferentially select strongly bound analytes over nonspecifically bound cells and molecules. To demonstrate the utility and versatility of nanoshearing phenomenon to specifically capture cancer cells, we present proof‐of‐concept data in lysed blood using two microfluidic devices containing a long array of asymmetric planar electrode pairs. Under the optimal experimental conditions, we achieved high capture efficiency (e.g., approximately 90 %; % RSD=2, n=3) with a 10‐fold reduction in nonspecific adsorption of non‐target cells for the detection of whole cells expressing Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2 (HER2). We believe that our ac‐EHD devices and the use of tuneable nanoshearing phenomenon may find relevance in a wide variety of biological and medical applications.  相似文献

Studies are made on nonlinear free vibrations of simply supported piezo-laminated rectangular plates with immovable edges utilizing Kirchoff’s hypothesis and von Kármán strain–displacement relations. The effect of random material properties of the base structure and actuation electric potential difference on the nonlinear free vibration of the plate is examined. The study is confined to linear-induced strain in the piezoelectric layer applicable to low electric fields. The von Kármán’s large deflection equations for generally laminated elastic plates are derived in terms of stress function and transverse deflection function. A deflection function satisfying the simply supported boundary conditions is assumed and a stress function is then obtained after solving the compatibility equation. Applying the modified Galerkin’s method to the governing nonlinear partial differential equations, a modal equation of Duffing’s type is obtained. It is solved by exact integration. Monte Carlo simulation has been carried out to examine the response statistics considering the material properties and actuation electric potential difference of the piezoelectric layer as random variables. The extremal values of response are also evaluated utilizing the Convex model as well as the Multivariate method. Results obtained through the different statistical approaches are found to be in good agreement with each other.  相似文献

The effect of l-glutamic acid as complexing agent in the presence of hydrogen peroxide as oxidizer in copper chemical mechanical polishing (CMP) slurry is investigated. In the CMP process, the work surface is moved against a pad, with slurry flowing between the surface and the pad. The polish rate was found to be stable over a wide range of hydrogen peroxide concentration. High concentration of either l-glutamic acid or hydrogen peroxide leads to a reduction in polish rate, but a high concentration of both chemicals does not reduce the polish rate. In the absence of hydrogen peroxide, the Cu polish rate was 0 for all the l-glutamic acid concentrations investigated. However, potentiodynamic polarization curves do not show any sign of passivation when l-glutamic acid was present in the solution. In situ open circuit potential measurements show that copper redox reactions as well as hydrogen peroxide redox reactions contribute in determining the electrochemical behavior. We propose that l-glutamic acid inhibits the copper dissolution by adsorption onto the metallic copper, but enhances copper dissolution by complexing copper ions. The results show that it is possible to conduct controllable copper CMP in mildly acidic slurries with hydrogen peroxide as oxidizer and l-glutamic acid as complexing agent.  相似文献

A conformationally rigid chiral molecule LB-I with Lewis basic site has been designed and synthesized in racemic form from ferrocene via Lewis acid mediated diastereoselective cyclization of hydroxy lactam. Both isomers were successfully obtained in enantiomerically pure form through classical resolution using dibenzoyl-d-tartaric acid as the chiral resolving agent in acetone. The nature of the diastereomeric salt formed in the resolution process was investigated by single crystal X-ray crystallographic studies. The absolute configuration of (+)-LB-I was unambiguously assigned as (S,Rp) by single crystal analysis of the salt I obtained from precipitate fraction containing (+)-LB-I and dibenzoyl-d-tartaric acid.  相似文献

The effect of electric field assisted annealing on the microstructure, composition and ionic conductivity properties in CeO2/YSZ oxide heterostructures have been investigated using molecular dynamics simulations. Amorphization–recrystallization steps were performed with and without external electric field of strength 10?MV/cm along three different orientations: in-plane (YZ), normal (X) and 45° resultant (XY) with respect to the oxide heterointerfaces. The microstructural and compositional differences at the interfaces and in the interior of the oxide heterolayers were evaluated and were found to show a clear correlation with the orientations of the applied field. In particular, the XY configuration displayed a compressive lattice strain of ~9% along with a reduced oxygen vacancy concentration when compared to the others. Ionic density profiles suggest pronounced segregation (~60% higher compared to the average value in the interior) of yttrium ions closer to the YSZ/CeO2 interface for the XY configuration. Other configurations exhibit minimal to no such variations. These microstructural differences are found to affect the number of mobile charge carriers and the activation barriers associated with ionic migration through the oxide lattice and consequently, influence the ionic conductivity.  相似文献

Gel combustion method was used to prepare nano-alumina from aluminum nitrate and stoichiometric amount of glycine as fuel. The TG–DTA pattern of the as-prepared powder (combustion product) exhibited exotherms with peaks around 500 and 900 °C accompanied with loss of weight of 25 and 5 % attributed to burning away of carbon left behind and decomposition of residual reaction intermediates left behind, respectively. Even though mass stability is attained above 900 °C, the DTA exhibited an exotherm around 1,150 °C attributed to transformation of gamma to alpha form of alumina. The XRD studies revealed that the powder heated to 900 °C was chemically pure nano-crystalline alumina while that heated above 1,150 °C was crystalline alpha form. As nano-crystalline powders are sinter-active, the nano-crystalline alumina formed by calcination at 900 °C was used to form the coating. A morphological feature of the agglomerates of nano-alumina powders were evaluated using SEM. The powder was de-agglomerated by wet grinding method. The dispersion conditions to form slurry using 900 °C calcined powder for slurry-based coating was optimized using zeta-potential studies, and it was found to exhibit a maximum value of ?45 mV at a pH of 9. After 8 h of grinding, the median agglomerate size reduced to 2 μm. Rheological studies exhibited desired pseudoplastic behavior in the range of 10–20 vol.% of solid while the slurry with 15 vol.% only form crack free, dense, and adherent coating after heat treatment at 1,150 °C. Chitosan is a natural based polymer obtained by alkaline deacetylation of chitin, exhibiting excellent properties such as non‐toxicity, biocompatibility and biodegradability. N‐Methylenephenyl phosphonic chitosan (NMPPC) is synthesized from chitosan by reacting with phenyl phosphonic acid using formaldehyde. The NMPPC was characterized by FTIR, 31P‐NMR, X‐ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, thermogravimeteric analysis and solubility studies. A significant decrease of molecular weight was observed in the NMPPC. The TGA studies suggested that NMPPC has less thermal stability than chitosan. The X‐ray diffraction analysis showed that NMPPC was amorphous in nature. The solubility property of the polymer was improved after the incorporation of a phenyl phosphonic group.  相似文献

Human Mammary Tumor Virus (HMTV) or Mouse Mammary Tumor Virus holds similarity as an endogenous onco-retrovirus belongs to retroviridae family, predominantly infects the epithelial cell of human as well as mouse. With the recognition of nano-biosensor in nanotechnology, ideal interdigitated electrode (IDE) was genuinely performed for HMTV detection. Aluminium enriched IDE (AlIDE) was fabricated for high performance detection with a cost-effective photolithography technique. In this research, (3-glycidyloxypropyl) trimethoxysilane refined platform was selected to detect the conductivity with HMTV target DNA interaction on the designed AlIDE. Strong binding affinity of streptavidin-biotin with target DNA enhanced the sensitivity by empowering higher number of HMTV probe and target complementation on sensing surface. Furthermore, the target DNA was immobilized on probe modified AlIDE and a quantitative value of 100 aM attained as a lowest detection. A linear with dose-dependent duplex formation was shown with the regression coefficient value of 0.964. Negative control has shown insignificant detection at 10 pM, which justifies the higher fold discrimination with specificity. The excellence of AlIDE performance in detection of HMTV may pave the way for more verification on other diseases.  相似文献
